A boy and a B

Welcome

Hello and welcome all to my blog about a boy and a B. There are many like it, but this one is mine. This story is mostly concerned with a 1970 MGB MKII that was assembled from a CKD kit in the Zetland production facility in Sydney owned and operated by BL Australia. If that sentence is confusing there will be more on that later. My car was the 54th car assembled with the new "face lift" grill but with Australian assembly being somewhat behind UK production, and different to USA delivered production it had all the features of the earlier MKII with the exception of the recessed grille and a new aluminium spoked steering wheel, both of which had been replaced when I bought the car. So, sit back, make a cup of tea and (hopefully) enjoy the ride.
